Rules.
Hoburne Cotswold Fishing Rules:
Guests may fish free of charge.
Any angler over 12 must have a valid rod license.
A maximum of 2 rods per angler may be used.
Maximum 2 anglers may stay at the cabin.
Fishing hours are strictly 08:00 til 22:00 (no night fishing allowed)
Fishing is permitted in the bottom third of the main lake, as indicated by the buoyed rope.
Do not leave rods unattended.
Landing nets with knotless mesh must be used.
Barbless hooks only.
All rigs must allow fish to discard the lead should the line break. No fixed rigs allowed.
Bait & ground bait must be used in moderation.
Nuts and/or beans are prohibited.
There is no closed season.
You are responsible for removing and disposing of litter.
In the event of snaring any fish or wildlife, please inform reception asap.
Live bait and freshwater fish dead baits must not be used. Sea fish dead baits are allowed.
Fishing from boats is not permitted
All fish must be returned to the lakes immediately (no sacking or keepnets allowed)
NOTE: HOBURNE HOLIDAY PARK WILL CLOSE LAKES AT SIGNS OF FISH SPAWNING. THIS IS MORE LIKELY AROUND MAY & JUNE.
